In North America the term for a Polecat is Skunk and the Black-footed ferret, similar in species but not in Fitch style hair. I think it's very interesting, if I were to describe a Fitch brush, a long pole or handle with hair short coarse hair like a polecat, so I declare Fitches to be the Polecat of Lettering Brushes.
